Inside Look: Behind the Scenes of Launch My Line

I loved filming my appearance as guest judge for Bravo's new fashion show, Launch My Line . As it gets down to the final four, the competition gets pretty serious--the winner of the show will be featured in Lucky .

I arrived at the studio (after trying on 80 different outfits in my hotel room) and was taken straight to the styling room. After a couple of hours (!) of hair and far too much make-up, I was finally ready for my Launch My Line debut.

Dean and Dan (of Dsquared2--that's me, above, with them), the hosts, were amazingly kind and patient as I nervously announced to the contestants their "Lucky" challenge for that week. I won't give too much away, but let's just say that the designers had to produce a look worthy of being featured in Lucky 's fashion pages. To help them along, they got a few tips from Project Runway alum Kara Saun (see the video clip below).

I returned the next day (the contestants are given 24 hours to design their outfits) for more makeup and hair curling, and joined Dean and Dan and the show's other two judges--fashion notables Stefani Greenfield (of Scoop) and Lisa Kline--in front of a live studio audience.

After the runway show, the judges gathered to discuss the highs and lows of the Lucky challenge and reviewed the contestants' previous projects to make sure they had been consistent with their lines thus far. After much deliberation, we named a winner! We finished filming at 10:30 that evening--a long day, but a very exciting one! It airs tonight at 10pm ET. Tune in!
