The Gryphon Aldridge Trench Is Here!
We're totally into the new trend of fashion bloggers guest-starring as designers. One great example: Judy and Jane Aldridge, the mother-and-daughter duo behind Atlantis Home and Sea of Shoes, who have recently lent their talents to both a major retail chain and a cool smaller label.
17-year-old Jane, who has developed a huge following for her unique style and ever-growing collection of super-high heels, recently designed two shoe micro-collections for Urban Ouftitters and, with her mother, a trench with Gryphon--another Lucky favorite. And now that khaki trench is available to purchase at shopbop.com.
According to ShopTalk (the ShopBop blog), the Aldridge Trench, $875, was "born of a fusion of Tokyo punk fashion, snapshots of the fearless Amelia Earhart, and the post-apocalyptic drama of Mad Max."
