The Long Bob, a.k.a. The "Lob"

I've been growing my hair out for what seems like the better part of my entire life; it was always about going long and longer. Now suddenly I'm wanting this style, perhaps because it's the exact, chic opposite of my boring non-haircut. It seems so much easier to deal with: I wouldn't cut my hair solely because of tangles, but there is something that always brings me back to this cut.

It would definitely be a plunge, but the fact that it still hits your shoulders means you wouldn't be waiting a lifetime for it to grow back, plus you can still pull it back in a ponytail. I love the look with lots of texture and a bit of wave, which, I feel, veers it safely out of soccer-mom territory.
