4 Questions For: Victoria Bartlett
In this new video series, some of our favorite designers spill on their inspirations and Fashion Week survival tips.
Victoria Bartlett's womenswear line, VPL, started with the idea of creating undergarments meant to be seen (which these days is hardly considered a faux pas; see how to do it right in this styling video).
This season, she showed long dresses (we're seeing a maxi-length trend emerge), layerable accessories, and backless tops with a touch of metallic sheen. Bartlett's artistry is apparent in body-conscious leotards and lingerie made unique with the addition of unexpected volume and textured embellishments. We left the show truly inspired.
