Backstage at L.A.M.B.: Glamorous '30s Starlet.... But One that's Been Out All Night
For the lips, there was a mix of MAC LipPencil in Burgundy, and MAC Lipmix in both Crimson and Burgundy. On the eyes, she used MAC Fibre RichMascara (she was going for clumpy, doll-like lashes), then completely rimmedthe eye with MAC Eye Kohl in Smolder for a cat-eye effect. To finish, shelayered on MAC Fluidline eyeliner in Blacktrack, which gave the whole look more of a midnight blue color. A bit of loose powder gave skin a matte finish.
Stylists started by prepping the hairwith Moroccanoil Luminizing Hairspray, then curled strands with a 1/2" curlingiron, and pinned them up to set. They gave all the girls faux bangs, which sounds a little scary, butended up looking incredibly chic. They pinned in Jessica Simpson Hair Do bang extensions around thehairline, then combed their real hair over to conceal. I have to admit, it looked prettyseamless. At the very end, the stylists pulled out all the bobby pins and combed out the waves.
NAILS: Again, with the glam '30s theme, the nailswere a dark, dark, almost-blackened red; the name of the polish is Dark Ruby by CND.
