Fashion Week Scorecard: Diane von Furstenberg
The Show: Diane von Furstenberg
The Venue: The Tent, Bryant Park
The Celebs: Lee Radziwill, Hilary Rhoda, Peaches Geldof, Molly Sims
The Look: On a runway lined with high-powered pals, Diane von Furstenberg and Nathan Jendenended their final collaboration (Jenden is leaving DVF to focus on his own namesake label which he started in 2005) with a juxtaposition of masuline and feminine. The blazer was the cornerstone of the collection, offered in many different styles--oversized, double breasted, metallic--and paired with everything from cropped slim pants to pretty organza dresses. Diane's signature prints were still there, but this time featured abstractly on fabrics such as panne velvet and chiffon. Metallic details, sequins, and chain trim finished off the looks.
What We Loved: A pink metallic skirt with a silk printed blouse and black blazer
