Fashion Week Scorecard: Rag & Bone
The Scene: A never-seen-before venue: a sprawling, exposed brick loft in the middle of Soho outfitted with hot-air-balloon-sized paper lanterns
The Celebs: Kings of Leon
The Look: You won't be cold next fall if Rag & Bone's David Neville and Marcus Wainwright have their way. In their universe you'll be wearing an ingenious layering of Scottish Highlands plaids and tweeds alongside Seville Row tailoring: think a plaid button-front shirt under a pinstripe blazer under a wooly cropped sweater over a tweedy miniskirt accompanied by a cozy blanket bag and you get the idea. Together the pieces looked great and on their own the kilts (both mini and knee-length), sweater dresses, tail coats, tuxedo jackets, ponchos, and extra-long white shirts will look equally good. Add the runway legwarmers and wire-wrapped rock crystal bolo ties for full effect.
The Models: Bed-head hair tucked into snugly-wrapped scarves; smokey brown eyes lined with a tinge of blue; natural lips
What We Loved: The black lace-up oxford and loafer wedges (the Lucky team was ready to snatch them off the runway); the blanket scarves; the green harris tweed hooded mini-bomber jacket
