The Music: A live performance by The Like
The Look: Designers Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock found their inspiration for fall 2010 in the work of Sheila Hicks and the female artists of the '70s craft movement, according to the program notes. The collection was designed to feel like clothes a woman would wear to her "upstate cabin: minimal, classic American; '70s-tinged and muted."

This translated to something that felt a bit more Spanish gaucho than cozy weekend. There were culottes, draped jersey cocktail dresses, silk skeleton prints, poncho-esque cloaks, and riding jackets--all in what the girls called a "rainy day palette." Many of the outfits were topped with flat-crown, molded brim black wool-felt hats with the models' long, slightly disheveled ponytails (a stripe of color added) hanging from below.

What We Loved: The army green wool cloak with leather trim (below ) and the rustic fur stoles.
