Sneak Peek: Sonia Rykiel for H&M

Last night, H&M debuted iconic French designer Sonia Rykiel's eagerly anticipated collection of affordable knitwear to a group of editors at a party in the West Village. The event was hosted by model Chanel Iman, who DJed all evening. We got a preview of all the looks--stripes, berets, colorful sweaters--and can definitely say that this collection will satisfy Rykiel fans.

This collection follows the release of Rykiel's adorable H&M lingerie line, which launched in December. Among all the amazing offerings, a few pieces in particular stood out--like the sparkly, striped tunic-dress below (tres chic with knit tights and metallic heels) and a yellow ruffled sweater (above) that we'd pair with a menswear-style trouser to offset the feminine ruffles. Totes, leggings, and striped stockings will all be on offer when the collection hits stores on February 20th.
