These Make Me Want to Redecorate...
We've finally more or less finished our apartment. What that means exactly, I'm not sure. To me, it means that all the big decisions have been made, furniture-wise, and so all I can do now is tinker. And tinker some more (I've never met a wall or a bookshelf that I haven't wanted to obsessively style). And so something happened to me this week that always happens when you're close to the finish line: I found these

Etsy and as macabre as they may be, I really want them.
I want them so much, in fact, that I'm now thinking that we need to swap out our dresser (it's slick and white) in order to make them work. Though it probably wouldn't end there, since they kind of don't jive with our entire aesthetic. Perhaps I don't need a new dresser, after all, I just need a cabin in the woods!
Does this ever happen to you guys? It makes sense with my personality, actually, since I'm the sort of person who will build an entire outfit around some shoes. Devil is in the details!
