Hoarders, The Makeup Edition

I've been hoarding lipstick forever. (In second grade, I swiped my mom's bright red Clinique and put it on in the school bathroom each morning--until I finally got called out after a parent-teacher conference.)

I know it expires after "one to four years", but I never thought about it much until this weekend, when I came across a funky-smelling tube and googled 'rancid lipstick'. (Note: if you need some extra motivation to spring clean your medicine cabinet, Google should do the trick every time. Shudder.) I immediately threw even the slightly old tubes, pots, and pencils in the trash.
