New York Hair Vs LA Hair

I was at a press breakfast for LA-based stylist Kim Vo the other day. He looked out at the group of editors and laughed, "Look at all of you, in your ponytails! In Los Angeles, it's all tousled waves." Glancing around the table, it was true: more ponytails than not (and to confirm another New York v. LA cliche, brunettes overwhelmingly outnumbered blondes.)
