My Top 5: Military-Inspired Jackets

With so many different styles to choose from this season, I've narrowed it down to my five favorites. These are all so cute and on trend, but still timeless.

J.Crew printed lieutenant jacket:

This fits really well, and it's not over-the-top if you wear it with something solid.

3.1 Phillip Lim merino wool-blend cardigan:

If you are looking for something a bit more dramatic, this option is so different and cool. It will make a great jacket come spring.

Gap knit jacket:

When I saw this on our racks I had to order one for myself. It looks authentic, like something you would find in an army surplus store, but you don't have to dig around for your size.

Smythe wool jacket:

I am obsessed with the shape and the cropped sleeves. There is so much you can do with this one, layering-wise. It's easy to throw on over anything to make an outfit more polished.

Juicy Couture "Tony" hooded trench:

I love the hood! I'm always looking for my next favorite trench, and this spring I'm definitely going the military route.
