Costello Tagliapietra for Uniqlo = Perfect Summer Workwear
While I'm a complete hot weather addict (why I've settled in the Northeast remains a mystery), I can't seem to figure out how to look put together and sophisticated when the humidity makes the air temperature feel like 110--and those days are right around the corner. Drapey shirts and denim, pieces that, in cooler months, can be dressed up with a blazer and scarf, feel less than appropriate for the office in July.
So when I saw these pictures of Costello Tagliapietra for Uniqlo, I had one of those eureka moments: this collection might save me.
Why? Because the line consists of 14 artfully draped dresses that are tailored in a way that makes them appear far more expensive than they will be (they will retail between $29.50 - $39.50). Made of slub jersey and silk--ideal fabrics for hot months--the clothes will debut in stores May 20th.
