Looking Ahead: 7 Standout Pieces From Gary Graham's Fall Line
It's almost impossible to pick just a few items from a Gary Graham collection to represent the whole. The designer's references are so varied--and yet, so specific--that each piece is its own little story and work of art.
For fall, Graham's influences include the urban imagery of Bruce Davidson; Native American weavings; the weather-worn patina of an upstate mobile home; and 19th century spiritualism.
What will all of this translate to in-store? Shadow stripe menswear suiting that's anything but suit-y; drape-y blanket plaid coats and jackets; soft, military-esque cocoon jackets that feel like nothing else you own and are perfect on their own and layered; museum-worthy prints; a number of one-of-a-kind looking tapestry-like pieces; and, the obsession of no less than Lucky creative director Andrea Linett and Luck y cover girl Jessica Szhor, Gary's unrivaled cardigans. Here, a few of our favorite looks from the fall line.
