Festival Style: Diane Birch Reports from Bonnaroo
We asked singer-songwriter Diane Birch to document the best looks at this weekend's festival.
It was pretty easy to spot the top trends at Bonnaroo this year: bikini tops, hydration backpacks, and almost any style of boots able to survive the dual threats of severe heat and rain, which led to good ol' festival mud. I quickly realized that much like music and drinking, these items are always popular.

My own approach (pictured below ) involved heaps of sunblock, and I was never without a large-brim straw hat, tortoiseshell sunglasses, and a bottle of water. On the first day, I went for a breezy Isabel Marant silk dress with a vintage floral-print blouse, which I ended up using as a sweat rag most of the time! My vintage leather moccasins were perfect for keeping out mud, and a collection of Native American jewelry completed the mix.
