Things We Love: Loft Using Its Employees As Models

In a totally inspired move, Loft is responding to feedback from customers on Facebook in a very direct and constructive way.

After posting images of the brand's new drapey silk cargo pants on its page, fans responded with comments that the pants may look good on a model, but they wouldn't be as cute on a real woman.

So guess what the retailer did the very next day?

Proved its critics wrong by posting pictures of its own employees--women who vary in size from a 2 to a 12--wearing the pants and looking absolutely fantastic.

The company received a ton of praise for swiftly addressing the concerns of its consumer in a fun, practical way.

What do you think about Loft's response? Would it help retailers sell more if they used real women instead of models?
