Acupuncture for...Wrinkles?
I've always known that acupuncture can solve a myriad of problems (acne, headaches, stress, and so on), but wrinkles? Apparently the needles stimulate blood flow and energy throughout your face, which then helps facial cells hold water, oxygen, and nutrients, giving your face a firmer look all over. Regular treatments boost collagen production and fill fine lines.
It works from the idea that, say, if you scratch yourself, your body goes into a wound-healing process and builds collagen to protect the area. Acupuncture "face-lifts" mimic that process. I've never tried acupuncture (of any sort), but I'm super curious to know if this actually works.
Has anyone tried this and what did you think?
