Mad Men Nominated For 17 Emmys--See Looks From the Upcoming Season

Despite the fact that it is still more than two weeks away, the Lucky office is already buzzing about the return of Mad Men.

Yesterday, Emmy nominations were announced (the actual event will air live on August 29) and our favorite '60s-inspired show is up for 17 awards. Two nominees from the cast are January Jones, who is in contention for outstanding lead actress in a drama, and Christina Hendricks, who is up for outstanding supporting actress in the same genre.

Admittedly, a large part of why our staffers watch the show is to see both of these stars in a stunning array of retro-chic outfits. We even included Betty Draper (aka January Jones) in our roundup of the top 12 most stylish TV characters of all time.

Based on thepromo pictures that were just released by AMC the other day (see above), season four will be filled with a ton of inspirational, period-appropriate looks. That's why we think it is so smart that the drama has teamed up with Banana Republic for a second time. A week before the July 25 premiere, the retailer will be launching a "Mad About Style" campaign in stores and online to inspire consumers to dress like their favorite characters--it will even offer a chance to win a walk-on role in an upcoming episode.
