Exciting News: Ferragamo Flats Are Getting More Affordable

As someone who has always wanted to own a pair of classically chic Ferragamo flats, I am excited by the brand's decision to launch a new footwear line called My Ferragamo this September.

The goal of the latest venture is "to coddle existing clients and lure new young ones," according to WWD, and a more affordable price point will undoubtably help to accomplish this, with retail prices ranging from $275 to $350. (Just to give you some perspective, a pair of traditional black Ferragamo flats costs $470 right now on saksfifthavenue.com.)

My Ferragamo will include a ballet flat, a velvet slipper, a pump, and a suede boot available in colors like fuchsia, red, emerald green, and mustard yellow (plus more traditional neutral tones for those who aren't interested in brights).

Would this new line convert any of you into Ferragamo devotees?
