The Bridesmaid Dress We Desperately Want Even Though We Are Not Bridesmaids-to-be

We discovered it when we were out scouting the just-opened WestHollywood outpost of New York City-based Two Birds, a geniusthree-year-old line of silk jersey bridesmaid dresses. The dresses comein four different styles and 18 colors--and, get this, each of thestyles can be worn 15 (yes, 15!) ways, so that bridesmaids can wearthem according to taste, body type, etc., and repurpose the dresspost-wedding.

Designer Ariane Goldman's newest silhouette is the Rosette, and it's everything that we could ever want or have in a dress. There are gorgeous appliqued rosettes all over the skirt, which give it the most lushly elegant, belle-of-the-ball look. And like its brethren, the dress can be wrapped, tied, twisted, knotted, and folded to create a wide array of looks from a Grecian one-shoulder gown to a seductive halter-neck statement.

$370, Two Birds, 938 N. Martel Ave., 323-963-5201, by appointment only; twobirdsbridesmaid.com
