OPI Blue My Mind + OPI Ogre-The-Top = The Newest Nail Mix
I can make a decision in seconds when it comes to "big" questions (when to take an apartment, when to splurge on amazing leather boots, that sort of thing), but when it comes to the trifling stuff I seriously cannot make a choice.
I'll stand at a nail salon peering at two nearly identical bottles for what feels like forever (do you guys do this?), until the manicurist (who at this point is looking at me warily, as if I have some kind of commitment-related disorder) shames me by her very presence into making a choice.
After seeing my friend's cool two-toned manicure this weekend, I think next time I'll just use both colors. The difference between the two blue shades she used was so subtle that at first I thought it was just a trick of the light, but no--she'd taken the two colors, OPI Ogre the Top Blue and OPI Blue My Mind,and alternated them at random. (The randomness is key to the overall effect; it's not every-other-nail alternated.) It reminded me of somethingMilla Jovovich would have worn in The Fifth Element.
