Cynthia Steffe Mixes Pretty and Edgy for Holiday
We've all witnessed the phenomenon of designers moving on from their namesake collections, leaving a new team to take over, abandoning the DNA of the brand. Happily, this was not the case at Cynthia Steffe when Steffe left in 2007, followed by a brief stint with Waleed Khairzada at the helm, and then British designer Shaun Kearney.
Kearney worked off the signature femininity of the line, then added a new layer of sophistication and edge. Special details and luxe fabrics make his clothes look like they should be more expensive than they are, and for holiday, the pretty/punky mix feels especially on-trend.
