Should You Be Allowed to Wear Peep-Toe Shoes to Work?
There pretty much isn't a single shoe inside my closet that I wouldn't consider wearing to work (save flip-flops, which I actually do wear to work these days, but just while commuting). In the legal world, however, there seems to be some debate about whether showing your toes is okay at the office.

The Careerist chose to interview people in the industry about the topic and one lawyer who works at several high-powered firms was quoted as saying, "I don't want to look at someone's toes in meetings or at work, and I also don't think it's appropriate to flash the sexy red-toe pedicure at work either."Another expert cited in the same article was Kat Griffin, the founder of the fashion and lifestyle blog for professional women, Corporette, who warns to err on the side of caution. "Don't wear open-toe shoes unless you've seen a much more senior lawyer do it," she says.
Does this seem a little severe to anyone else? As long as the heels aren't too high, I feel that peep-toes are pretty benign.
What do you think? And what's off-limits at your office?
