Sara Millionaire's Pop Culture Icons

A style afficionado with a penchant for runway fashion and rock and roll, 25-year-old Sara Millionaire showcases her edgy-chic taste on her blog, wr2bam.com (which stands for Waitin' Round 2 Be A Millionaire, just in case you didn't catch that). This week, she's sharing all her greatest tips with us on Lucky Right Now, from must-have staples for rockers to the pop culture icons who most influence her look.

When you think of fashion icons in pop culture, there are the obvious standouts--Audrey Hepburn and her gamine vibe, for instance, or Jane Birkin, with herperfect bangs and classic cool. And while there's certainly something to be said about the Lauren Huttons andTwiggys of the world, I have a few personal fashion heroes who might be a little more on the fringe but whose contributions to the world of style oughtn't be overlooked. And why not also download a song that will get you in the mood to dress like each of them?

What's Better Than an All-Night Party? Getting a Massage After an All-Night Party

I'm on a fact-finding mission right now for an upcoming spa roundup (tough job), and it's triggered a memory of one of my favorite massages ever--no, not the time the masseuse burped. It was an early-morning massage after a late night out in Atlantic City. (Note: You should not be under the influence of alcohol when you do this because it actually is a health hazard--being tired from dancing to Rihanna is fine, but being drunk is not).Read More

DSquared: Fashion Week Scorecard

The Scene: Models entered the runway via a '70s living room set done up in tonal grays and outfitted with low couches, mirrored walls, and midcentury-modern chandeliers.

The Look: Even though there were a few nods to the'70s(oversize glasses, "flesh"-colored cutout swimsuits, crystal-encrusted cardigans and tap pants), the look was unmistakably sexy-preppy tomboy. There were lots of cashmere sweaters, walking shorts, double-breasted blazers, and white shirts, plus the perfect wide-leg-khakis-and-denim-shirt combo. Both day and night outfits were paired with flat oxford shoes, and a group of feminine tuxedo looks closed the show.

The Pieces We Want: The khakis and the gray V-neck sweater/jeweled skirt look.

The Dolce & Gabbana Lip--My Way

The Dolce & Gabbana spring show might be my favorite yet if only for the lips--isn't this the perfect shade of pink? This is what I want my lips to look like when I wake up in the morning--just a tiny bit of flushed, angelic color like I've been cuddled by clouds all night. Read More
