Marc By Marc Jacobs: Fashion Week Scorecard

The Scene: The Lexington Avenue Armory was celeb-free for the Marc by Marc Jacobs show--which is not to say that the event was without excitement. The energy came from the happy mix of colorful, fun clothes on the runway.

The Look: Swingy silk dresses and skirts in cabana stripes and bright citrus colors alongside chic-ed up gray jersey, crisp safari, irresistible nautical numbers, graphic prints, and, as always, a handful of Marc's girly florals. Sneaker wedges (a strong spring trend); wicker wedges and hats; wood and lacquer bangles; drawstring, cross-body, and double handle bags were the I-can't-wait-to-buy-them accessories.

The Pieces We Want: The neon-trimmed cross-body straw bags, the navy poor-boy ribbed sweater with the retro red-and-white bikini bottom and the blue, orange, and yellow stripe silk tank dress.
