Molly Sims On Wearing Marchesa: It's "A Girl's Dream"

Two-and-a-half weeks ago, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman gave birth to a baby girl--but being a brand new mom didn't delay her spring 2011 presentation. Yesterday, she and Marchesa co-designer Keren Craig packed the first floor of the Chelsea Museum to its utmost capacity with VIP attendees including The City 's Olivia Palermo, Gossip Girl' s Jessica Szohr, and model Petra Nemcova.

As guests slowly shuffled into the space, I turned around to find myself elbow-to-elbow with Molly Sims, a friend of Craig's for many years. "We were both models at Select at one time," Sims explained. "I've been a supporter since the beginning."

In a beautiful beaded Marchesa dress, Sims said, "It's a girl's dream" to wear one of their pieces.

Her thoughts on the current collection: "Honestly, it's art. The structure, the colors, the tulle, the lace; it's couture at its finest."
