How Do You Feel About iPhone Accessories?
So I have an iPhone 4, which I coddle like a baby and store in a cute Il Bisonte pouch. While it's absolutely not convenient to slide it into its little leather envelope every time I put it in my purse, I don't want it to get scratched--nor can I stomach wrapping it in a rubber bumper. But now, I think I've figured out a way to preserve at least one side of my very treasured device.
Or actually, I guess the people over at Material 6 figured it for me. They've modded out these really beautiful burled wood inlay backs, which are inset with all the original iPhone 4 components. There's even a useful video for showing you how to unscrew the back of your phone, and replace it with one from Material 6. They're $89, which is a bit of a splurge, but wildly elegant and cool, so arguably worth it. Besides, when you're groping around in the dark recesses of your bag, at least you can feel which side is the front, and which is the back.
What lengths do you all go to to protect your phones?
