Behind the Scenes with Vena Cava: Creating the Look
Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava are showing their fall collection during NYFW this Thursday AND speaking at Lucky's FABB blogger conference on Tuesday. It's going to be one very busy week. We've asked them to blog for us all week on Lucky Right Now as they put the final touches on their collection.

About a week before our show we get together with our stylist, Kate Young, hire a model and make our "looks".It's basically the same experience of being 15 and getting ready to go to a house party: We just spend the entire day making outfits. We try all the clothes on a model, photograph all the outfits and then decide which ideas work together. After that, we'll add accessories, jewelry,shoes, hair and makeup. Or in this case--just a ton of glitter.
