Milan Fashion Week Scorecard: Alberta Ferretti
The Vibe: Most of the collection was a departure from Ferretti's standard fare of ethereal chiffon dresses in neutral hues. She opened the show with short dresses for daywear in a bright color palette and sleek monochromatic pantsuits that felt very 1970s.
What We Love: Ferretti played with contrasting materials and textures, and the juxtaposition was rich. We loved the bright orange coat--the silhouette was sleek and the color was enough to turn heads in those dreary winter months.
