NYFW Scorecard: Rachel Comey
The Show: Rachel Comey
The Scene: The downtown set and editors packed a full house at Pier 59.
The Music: The mercurial sounds of Douglas Shaw.
The Front Row: Bloggers, bloggers, bloggers. Rumi Neeley, Bryan Boy and Julia Frakes all came out to support Ms. Comey.
The Look: Using hybrid of mixed prints, grandpa knits and fluid fabrics, Rachel played with length. Pants and sweaters got the cropped treatment while tea length dresses floated by. All the better for catching a glimpse of her updated trademark wood heeled boots.
The Pieces We Want: The wide wale corduroy suit in shades of rust, perfectly worn in fair isle cardigan paired with a digital printed chevron skirt and her sculpted heel clog boots.
