Five Inspirational People from the Global Fashion Industry: Natalie Massenet

Founder of the addictive blog The Business of Fashion, Imran Amed has managed to grow what began as a small personal project into a must-read for fashion spectators and industry insiders alike. We are thrilled to have Imran guest blogging for us all week here on Luckymag.com, where he will be sharing his own behind-the-scenes interviews with some of the most respected names in the business.

Natalie Massenet is one of the most warm, inspiring and smart people working in the fashion industry. When she launched Net-a-Porter.com back in 2000, she had a vision for creating a "magazine you could shop from," building on her experience as an editor at Tatler. Ten years later, her business was sold to Richemont, the Swiss luxury goods group, for over $500 million. Last summer, as part of our Fashion Pioneers interview series, Natalie gave me a behind-the-scenes tour of Net-a-Porter's amazing new offices in West London.
