I don't know about you, but the idea of traveling with my kids is anything but a vacation. The packing of all the crap, the schlep to the airport, the flight (how am I supposed to entertain these monsters for a five-hour flight?), and finally the destination which is inevitably a death trap in terms of exposed electrical outlets, pools to fall in, sharp corners and many, many opportunities to destroy items that I will have to later pay for. A very wise friend of mine once said, "It's not a vacation, it's a relocation." Same schedule, same demands, just a different locale.
