New Self-Tanning Application Strategy

It was 90 degrees while I was in Austin, which means that after a brutal New York winter, my pale legs needed to make an appearance. I packed some Kate Sommerville self-tanning wipes (brilliant for travel if you aren't checking luggage) and tested them out my first night here. With other towels, I've found it quite difficult to get unstreaky results--until I devised my own foolproof application method. First, I cut the wipe in half. If there's less surface area of the wipe, it will be easier to control where it hits your skin. Then to apply, I hold it extremely taut from both ends. Starting from the ankle, move up slowly covering the entire front of the leg. Then do the same on the back side, making sure you don't miss the sides of your legs. Making sure that the wipe doesn't wrinkle at all is the key. For the first time ever, I can say that I'm proud of the color of my legs. I hope this helps!
