Not only are Kate Middleton's wedding day earrings her something new, they're also a special gift from her parents for her wedding day. The diamond-set stylized oak leaves with a pear-shaped diamond set drop, with a pave set diamond acorn in the center, were made to match her 1936 Cartier diamond "halo" tiara (her something-borrowed, from the Queen), and are inspired by the Middleton's new coat of arms.
