It's obvious the vintage-loving women who run modernkiddo.com, Alex and Dottie, like to have fun: Just check out their "hostesses" photo, which involves sparkly gold horns and purple eyeshadow. And while I wouldn't necessarily take my fashion advice from women wearing the aforementioned accessories, the kids' stuff (parties, clothing, books, toys, rooms, etc.!) they showcase is all delightfully cheerful.

One of my favorite features is "Vintage Bookshelf," which focuses on great old children's books they unearth at estate sales and the like. They're also a great source for finding out about original kids' clothing: I have them to thank for turning me on to Winter Water Factory, which carries super-adorable onesies, like this robot-meets-dog version ($22).
