Lucky Haul: What Our Editors Bought Last Weekend

As promised, we're going to be doing a haul post every week about what Lucky editors bought over the past few days. Watch out--shopping is our leisure sport, so that means tons of stuff each week for you to ogle. For us, it just means another way to justify filling our already full closets.

Stephanie Trong, deputy digital editor

I totally mixed business with pleasure--I was interviewing the amazing jewelry and bag designer Wendy Nichol at her store in NYC and couldn't help but order this satchel in the coolest gray-green I've ever seen. It's like a neutral, but better.

Beth Hitchcock, digital fashion assistant

I scored this bright pink blazer from Zara. It's the perfect piece to pair with shorts and dresses during my upcoming trip to Vegas for the long weekend.

Karen Wilson, senior digital producer

On Saturday, I finally had time to stop by the new Madewell on Fifth Avenue where I picked up a new summer-weight sweater. I think this rich brown is going to look great with my other bright warm-weather layers and will keep me from being too cold in the office air-conditioning. I also bought a new red lipstick from Nars in Fire Down Belowto wear to a weekend wedding. Its matte formula lasted even through many glasses of celebratory champagne.

Jenna Gottlieb, editorial associate

I will likely live in this semi-boring but crucial navy Theory button-down that I bought on sale for 60 percent off at Neiman Marcus on Saturday (yes, I was in the burbs).

John Jannuzzi, Style Collective editor

I've got some fancy hoity-toity event to go to at the beginning of the month, and being a collector of the casual, I found myself with nothing to wear. I figured now that I'm somewhat of an adult, I should spring for a suit. After weighing the options, I landed on the much talked-about (at least in menswear circles) Ludlow suit from J.Crew in a dark charcoal hue. The fit is pretty on point, and with the help of my trusty J.Crew sales associates, we pinned everything for a quick pant hem. All in all, it was a painless and rather well-priced experience--and the one thing that never goes out of style is a suit.
