These subtley gold-flecked formulas leave legs, shoulders, and décolleté feeling incredibly silky—and looking amazing. It doesn’t give you the whole I-just-woke-up-in-a-disco effect (which is appropriate only when actually waking up in a disco) since the sheen is so perfectly subtle.

Matthew Williamson, beloved designer of fabulous printed dresses that we usually cannot afford, and best friend of It Girls such as Sienna and Kate, is one of our faves. He’s gone and created a diffusion (as in, lower-priced) line that debuted today in his NYC flagship boutique. We popped in and interrupted him as he was studying mood boards and sipping tea (in addition to being charming, he is totally British). He walked us through the collection, called MW, explaining it will be produced twice a year, and sold online and in his stores. It’s the "younger sister” to his main line, he said, and stays true to his love of beautiful prints and luxe leathers, but with gentler prices—a flippy leather skirt in the most gorgeous cognac shade retails for $550. We told him we can’t wait to see his looks on Duchess Catherine, and with a twinkle in his eye, he replied, “Tell me about it”.
