In Memoriam: The Amy Winehouse Cat Eye

I loved her. I loved those crazy-exaggerated cat eyes (so exaggerated it looked as if she’d substituted the kind of brush used to baste a turkey for a pencil). The outrageous chunky slashes of liner were always impeccably shaded in and perfectly symmetrical. Here, my approximation.
2.) Swipe your lid with a flesh-colored shadow.
3.) Trace the top rim of your lid with your liner then angle the line upward (very upward).
4.) Once you’ve got your shape, go over it with pencil until the lines are ultra-thick.
5.) Fine-tune the whole thing by adding mascara and brushing on more flesh-colored shadow.
