Royal Tour, Day Five: Kate Middleton Wears McQueen

On the fifth day of their North American tour, Kate Middleton opted for a 1920s-style cream and navy cable knit dress with a pussy-bow neckline by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Middleton's look is the same--knee-length, body-skimming but demure shift dresses with simple accessories (navy suede heels in this case)--and the formula clearly works for her. While she isn't wowing us with her style, we can certainly appreciate a young woman who is choosing appropriate hemlines without sacrificing style.
