Resort 2012 Trend: White Heat
Nothing says “resort” more than head-to-toe white; it just communicates the idea that we’re going to some wonderful sunshiney vacation place where there is no such thing as grime. That place might just be in our heads, but the designers were thinking along those lines too; collections were full of blinding white looks, from a sleek pantsuit at Alexander Wang to a flirty frock at Louis Vuitton. Forget reality (and let the dry cleaner deal with it later).
