Avril Lavigne to Show Her Kohl's Line at NYFW

Avril Lavigne is hitting the catwalk.

The popstar-turned-designer is showing her Kohl's fashion line, Abbey Dawn, next month at New York Fashion Week. The runway show will take place September 12 at 6 pm. Lavigne will be going up against Betsey Johnson, Zero + Maria Cornejo and Sang A, who are also showing in that time slot (in different venues, of course).

According to Fashionista, Lavigne is expanding Abbey Dawn from t-shirts and hoodies to dresses, denim, skirts, footwear, handbags, wallets, purses and eyewear.

With so many celebrity-charged collections, we think Kohl's should do a day of shows. Can you image Avril, Lauren Conrad and J.Lo on one runway?
