Marc Jacobs for Dior? Oui Oui!

Fairchild Archive
The house of Dior needs a new designer, and for months the word around Paris has been that it would be Givenchy mastermind Riccardo Tisci. Now the tables have turned and fashion-paper-of-record WWD is reporting that American designer Marc Jacobs is in talks with the LVMH-owned label.
Along with running his namesake label, Jacobs is also the creative director of marquee brand Louis Vuitton. WWD is suggesting that Celine's Phoebe Philo will replace Jacobs at Vuitton.
Jacobs' brilliant mix of mass and class works for Dior, so we wouldn't be surprised if this is LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault's final decision. Who do you want to see design Dior?
