Opening Ceremony Chooses Argentina as its Fall 2011 Focus

Unlike the real Olympics, we couldn't care less who wins the international face-off at Opening Ceremony. We just want to know who’s playing. After last year's delightful lineup of French labels, the cutting edge store has announced Argentina as its country of choice for Fall 2011. So basically, in addition to the usual round up of fashion-forward labels, the store will be stocking some seriously cool looks from South American brands such as JUNGLE Vi.Ai.Pi., Ale Sly and Chicco Ruiz. If you happen to be in NYC on Fashion's Night Out, be sure to swing by the Ace Hotel to attend the cult boutique's kickoff party: a massive el mercado de carnival de Opening Ceremony! Expect to find an array of freebies and games, an appearance by Miss Piggy plus live dance performances with costumes by Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Suno and Opening Ceremony! Out-of-towners don't despair: Opening Ceremony will be updating its Tumblr page throughout the evening with exclusive pictures from the event. (And of course, many of the products will be available via e-commerce.) So trade in your ballet flats for some sporty soccer kicks and start planning now—this is one party you will not want to miss!
