Rachel Zoe’s Former Assistant Launches ClosetRich.com
We're no strangers to secondhand shopping online. We've pretty much done it all: stayed up until three to bid on eBay, trolled our favorite Etsy shop for markdowns, stocked up on vintage tees from Beacon's Closet. Needless to say, when we heard that Elizabeth Kott (Rachel Zoe's former assistant) just launched a used clothes e-shop, our interest was piqued. ClosetRich.com, named for the overstuffed wardrobes Kott raids for stock, does not disappoint. Based on a consignment store model, all items are hand-picked from the dressers of Elizabeth's very fashionable clientele (who receive 50 percent of the profits) and extremely reasonably priced. After a quick click through the expertly curated inventory, we spied a cozy striped Marc Jacobs sweater for a mere $98, satin Manolo Blahnik pumps at $75 (seriously!) and a selection of three $65 Clog Masters. Given the impeccable taste and covetable labels, we can't help but wonder: Has Kott possibly visited the infamous closet of her former employer?
