Milan Fashion Week 2012: Scarves Galore at D&G

Fairchild Archive
The Scene: Dolce & Gabbana's lower-priced label shows for the last time in Milan.
The Look: Gypset Euro-heiress. Vibrantly printed scarves played a major part in this collection, right down to the luxe silk shoes. The models' loose blown out hair and oversize raffia hats kept the colorful ensembles looking effortless. Tiny denim details turned up unexpectedly; a breast pocket here, a shirt sleeve there. We imagine these clothes would look best at sunset in Saint Tropez; the ultimate wardrobe for seaside drinks and dancing.
The Pieces We Want: A jacket comprised entirely of color saturated kerchiefs would look so fresh over a crisp white shirt and black skinnies come next season.
