NYFW Spring 2012: Victoria Beckham's New Girl

Everyone knows about Victoria Beckham's main collection—sublime, exquisitely tailored dresses and accessories that cost about as much as a car. Her secondary line, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, is about to wildly broaden her customer base. She showed the spring collection to a small group of editors this week, and it is just so cute, not to mention slightly more affordable ($450-$1,200). The beautiful tailoring is there, but the shapes are a bit looser and the colors and patterns a bit more whimsical (the cats on one dress were inspired by comic book character Emily the Strange).
