It's Official: Prada is Coming to the Met!

Fairchild Archive
Who would believe that the Met could top itself after last spring's riveting collection of Alexander McQueen's most compelling designs?
In 2012, the famous New York City museum will feature the work of not one, but two groundbreaking designers: Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.
Open to the public on May 10, the exhibit will feature around 80 original designs from Schiaparelli (created between the late '20s to early '50s) and Prada (late '80s to present day). We're beyond excited for this Italian glamour fest, which will certainly read as a roadmap of top 20th (and some 21st!) century trends.
Are you as psyched as we are for this year's show? Which Prada trend are you most excited to see resurrected? Let us know in the comments below!
