Lucky Haul: Curmudgeon Lit

This weekend, I woke up with a need to purchase something. It happens pretty much every Saturday, I guess that's why I work at Lucky, aye? My retail quest brought me to Partners & Spade, where I can usually find something bizarre to put in my house.
My old-stand-by didn't let me down: I left with a book, A Pessimist's Companion, perfect for the curmudgeon in your life. Reading it to myself walking home, I couldn't stop laughing. Allow me to leave you with a few quotations from my new favorite text:
"There's always a way to fail."
"This bright, beautiful world is your grave."
"Statistically the weather is worse on weekends."
