Alber Elbaz is Designing a 'Colorful and Whimsical' Tree for Claridge's
London hotel Claridge has tapped Alber Elbaz to decorate their lobby's annual Christmas tree. The Lanvin designer is taking the reigns from John Galliano, who did the job for two years.
The hotel has released this preliminary sketch and WWD reports that adornments will include "marionettes wearing Elbaz’s take on Claridge’s staff uniforms." (Um, dreaming of a trip to London yet? Us, too.)
The finished product will be revealed on the morning of November 22 and stays up until January 2.
